I’m a naturally cheerful person who enjoys a good laugh — sometimes a little too much!
Outside work, most of my time I am happily occupied by my three children, who are undoubtedly my greatest adventure and the reason I have become increasingly attached to family life.
I enjoy spending time outdoors and staying active. As a true Portuguese, the sport I play is football, although I have always had a particular fondness for rugby and the values associated with it, especially teamwork, resilience and camaraderie.
My years as a medical officer in the Portuguese Navy brought plenty of travel, challenges and memorable experiences. They also taught me to adapt easily, remain curious and feel comfortable around people from very different cultures and backgrounds.
These days, I value being present for my family, enjoying the simple things and making time for others
